The construction enterprise “Arpa-Sevanstroy” has been established in 1969 and reorganized into OJSC “Arpa-Sevan” in 1998, hence being one of the oldest companies of its kind in the Republic of Armenia and the only post-Soviet survivor out of 15 of those acting in the territory. The original field of Company activity has been the tunnel and canal building for management of water resources of the country. However, due to many year sfaffing of a team with highly qualified engineering and technical specialists “Arpa-Sevan” OJSC evolved into an organization that provides a full spectrum of services in construction engineering business. The designing-technological potential, the presence of experienced personnel and the values of company provided the leading positions of “Arpa-Sevan” OJSC in the market by its revenue, the number and size of the projects being implemented and the employee involved among other performance indicators.
Our potential has allowed us to implement and plan numerous projects in commercial and industrial sectors including the commissioning of 133 different jobs:
• 104 km of drive working,
• more then 100 km long stretches of constructed and repaired Main Canals,
• 93.7 km long pipeline was laid
• 38 residential buildings of 85 000 m2 total surface area.
The main lines of activity of our enterprise include the construction of underground structures (hydraulic and vehicular traffic tunnels, underground railway stations and lines, manifolds etc), drilling-&-blasting operations, construction of residential buildings and civil works, construction and rehabilitation of canals and irrigation schemes, construction of power engineering projects and construction and repair of high-altitude RC smoke pipes and cooling stacks, implementation of special-purpose etc.
We have quite a number of characteristics that ensure the observance of commitments and, taken together, underpin the confidence we have in our long-term success. Our business works right across the supply chain, from initial concept to the intermediate maintenance and according to the complexity of project the Company regularly mobilizes teams of highly skilled specialists that are unique in their ability to put projects into commission in time and to budget. Vast experience and training of engineering and technical personnel, the availability of special-purpose electrical and mechanical equipment permit “Arpa-Sevan” OJSC to solve and realize the implementation of production and managerial objectives in wide range of construction engineering activities.
