Rehabilitation of Armavir Main Canal
DM 48+13 – DM 70+00 and DM 70+00 - DM 87+57
The Customer is the SI “Water Resources Development and Institutional Improvements PIU” SI of the State Committee of Water System of the Ministry of Territorial Administration of RA.
Completed in the Month of April, 2010.
The cost of Project amounts to 1 092 714 349 AMD.
The rehabilitation of different stretches of the total length of 3944 lin.m. of canal was implemented out of the vegetation period.
The following works have been executed:
1. Rehabilitation and renovation of the approaching road;
2. Excavation works in the amount of 12185.37 cubic meters;
3. Canal cleaning of the sediments and detritus, partial demolition of concrete berms.
1465.98 cubic meters;
4. Cleaning of deteriorated concrete of canal bottom and walls;
5. Placing of broken stone-sand blinding mattresses;
6. Concreting of 6442.76 cubic meters of canal structures, - a number of activities have been
realized including the application of anti-freezing additives, covering and warming of
concrete surfaces, as well as preliminary warming of water for concrete mixes.
7. Making of expansion and movement joints of the total length of 17980.93 m.
